Our Story
Frontier Direct was created from a simple belief: healthcare should be simple, personal and direct. Traditional healthcare has become bogged down by insurance claims, endless paperwork and inflated cost-barriers that keep providers from spending meaningful time with their patients and deter patients from seeking care when they need it. This leads to frustrated providers, unengaged patients and poor health outcomes.
We set out to restore the provider-patient relationship by empowering employer-sponsored patients with direct access to a Frontier PCP through a near-site clinic. We serve communities throughout Texas, proving that transparent pricing, unlimited access and personable care can co-exist in modern healthcare.

Bibb Beale
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Bibb Beale is Frontier's co-founder and CEO. A Florida State University entrepreneurship graduate (2011), Bibb started as a pilot program patient in 2018, experiencing direct care's accessibility firsthand. After becoming lead investor in 2019, Bibb transitioned to CEO in 2020 when his wife Amy's brain cancer diagnosis showcased direct primary care’s life-changing impact. The experience prompted Bibb to sell his other businesses and lead Frontier's mission to scale direct primary care nationwide.
Peter Lazzopina
MD – Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Peter Lazzopina, M.D. is a family physician, co-founder and the chief medical officer of Frontier Direct Care. He started Frontier in 2018 with the vision to provide affordable, accessible, and personalized primary care to his community. He has seen the power of direct care to restore authentic, relational primary care and believes that direct care is foundational to healing American health care.
Blaine Barnett
Chief Operating Officer
Blaine, Frontier's President and COO, brings over 30 years of global experience in achieving revenue, profit, and growth for businesses. A Northwestern and University of Chicago graduate, he spent his early career in consulting before moving into leadership roles with large companies. He eventually found his niche leading young, purpose-based businesses ready to scale. Blaine joined Frontier in 2024 to help build the teams and processes needed to achieve its mission of transforming American healthcare.
Jason Elliot
Chief Financial Officer
Jason Elliott is CFO at Frontier Direct, overseeing financial planning, accounting, data analytics, contracting, HR, and business strategy. A CPA with bachelor's and master's degrees from University of Tennessee's Haslam School of Business, he previously worked at Ernst & Young, where he managed and collaborated with various teams, including his largest engagement—a client with over $11 billion in revenue.
Steven Kasper
Chief Technology Officer
Steven Kaspar joined Frontier Direct in 2022 and built a custom EHR system in just four months. A Bucknell computer engineering graduate and former NCAA Division I basketball player, he previously led 30+ person technology teams at Nationwide Marketing Group, integrating 70+ vendor partners. An entrepreneur who co-founded diversiFIT and operated service businesses, Steven brings technical expertise and business acumen to healthcare innovation.
Lauren Orzechowski
PA – Chief Experience Officer
Lauren Orzechowski graduated from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston with a B.S. in Pre-Medical and Health Studies and a M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies. Before joining Frontier Direct Care in 2021, she worked in family medicine, gastroenterology, and internal medicine. Lauren is passionate about building strong patient-provider relationships through empathy, open communication, and shared decision-making. She is also committed to improving healthcare literacy for everyone.
Logan Ayers
Chief Business Officer
Logan Ayers, a native of Tupelo, MS, has a B.B.A. from the University of Mississippi. He progressed from Associate Director of Operations to COO at Wealth Hospitality, helping grow the company to over 25 properties and $300M+ in AUM. Specializing in acquisitions, strategic analysis, and leadership, Logan champions customer experience to drive profitability. He balances his professional life with community involvement and real estate in Tupelo.
