Frontier provides medical care to pregnant members, excluding obstetric care. We take care of colds, flu, minor injuries, headaches, etc. From the second trimester through delivery, an obstetrician will lead and direct all pregnancy-related care. We will refer you to a local obstetrician of your choice and help to coordinate other care during pregnancy as needed.

How do I get a referral for care outside a Frontier clinic?

To initiate a referral, please first consult with your Frontier PCP to determine the need. Once your PCP submits your referral to our concierge team, the scheduling process typically takes 5–10 business days. During this time, our team will review and discuss pricing options to ensure they align with your preferences. You can view your referral status on the Frontier app at any time.
